Valyou launches Cannes meet-ups for Film Industry Network

CANNES, France, May 16, 2009 – Valyou has successfully concluded a networking event at this year’s Cannes Film Festival for Film Industry Network.
Liaising with the Hotel Martinez in Cannes, Valyou arranged to hold an event at the prestigious 5 star venue during the festival.
The event welcomed filmmakers, producers and actors from around the world in an intimate setting. The informal meet and greet, which forms part of Film Industry Network’s activities for this year’s festival, saw a large participation.
Following the launch of Film Industry Network’s international membership group, the organization had been seeking to build its reputation with filmmakers around the world. Valyou identified Cannes as an ideal launching pad on the film calendar that would enable it to foster closer connections with directors and producers attending the festival this year.
Following the launch of the event at the Hotel Martinez, Film Industry Network will be arranging future meet up events in Paris and other festivals in the coming months thanks to the successful format of its inaugural Cannes event.
